GIFT SHOPS

Bringing home a souvenir is a tangible way to remember your visit or share it with friends and family back home. Coronado Historic Site's Sun Father Gift Shop is located on premises, and includes unique artisan and indigenous finds. The newly opened Towa Gifts at Jemez Historic Site offers a range of jewelry and handcrafted art created by pueblo and local artisans.

Sun Father Gift Shop

Now in its 10th year, Sun Father Gift Shop has a wide variety of new southwest items including jewelry, pottery, unique toys, educational books and crafts that connect Kauau to New Mexico. Most items are made by indigenous and local artisans.

Profits from the sale of the items go back to preserve the Sites and educate the public.

The best part? All purchases are tax free! Plus, as a member benefit, all Friends members receive a discount on full priced items.

The Friends Group supports both Coronado and Jemez Historic sites, administered by
New Mexico Historic Sites, a division of the Department of Cultural Affairs.  The Friends support both sites with volunteer activities and fund raising.

Opened in April 2024, the Towa Gift Shop is located within the entrance of the Jemez Historic Site Museum in Jemez Springs.

The new shop has a variety of souvenirs as well as handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings and crafts created by tribal members from Jemez Pueblo as well as surrounding pueblos and locals.

Like Sun Father Gift shop, Friends members may enjoy a discount on full priced items and the gift shop is in need of Friends volunteers to run it.
