  • What does the Friends Group do?
    The Friends Group, established in 2003, is the supportive arm of the Department of Cultural Affairs, with a focus on protecting, preserving and promoting both Jemez and Coronado Historic Sites. The Friends Group spends thousands of hours each year volunteering at each Site which can range from helping on the grounds, to assisting with events, to leading workshops, to sitting as board members and everything in between. We invite you to visit our Membership page for more information or to become a Friends member.
  • How much is it to become a Friend?
    Information about pricing and a registration form is available on the Membership page.
  • Do I need to become a Friend member in order to volunteer?

Historic Sites & Gift Shop Information

Hours of Operation at Sun Father Gift Shop, located at Coronado Historic Site: Open daily from 11 am-3 pm. Closed Tuesdays. Contact info: 505-771-0416

Hours for Coronado Historic Site: Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm. Closed Tuesdays. $7 for adults, free for children 16 and under. Contact info: 505-867-5351
