WELCOME FRIEND!

The Friends of Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites is a fun, diverse group of over 400 volunteers of all ages. We share our love of New Mexico's cultural history and the desire to preserve it for future generations. Our desire is to give back through community outreach and educational opportunities. Our goal is to conserve the village remains at the Coronado Historic Site in Bernalillo and the Jemez Historic Site in Jemez Springs.

Friends members coordinate and attend unique field trips and lead educational workshops. We gain special access to behind-the-scenes tours of off-site museums, guided wilderness hikes, social events and free entry into both historic sites throughout the year. This is your opportunity to meet people who also love history, anthropology, cultural events and the outdoors. Join The Friends and help create a positive change to protect our cultural history. Our web site is where you can learn more about The Friends, our history, activities and upcoming events.
