WELCOME, FRIEND!

The Friends Group at Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites is a fun, diverse group of over 300 volunteers of all ages who share several commonalities: our love of New Mexico's cultural history and the desire to preserve it for future generations, our desire to give back through community outreach and educational opportunities, and our goal of conserving and restoring the ancient village of Kuaua in Bernalillo and the Jemez Historic site in Jemez Springs.

Friends members coordinate and attend unique field trips, lead educational workshops and gain special access to behind-the-scenes tours of off-site museums, guided wilderness hikes, social events, and free entry into both historic sites throughout the year. If you love meeting new people who also love history, anthropology, cultural events and the outdoors, or if you want to impact positive change to protect our cultural history, we invite you to become a Friends Group member. Find out more about the benefits and upcoming events our Friends enjoy.
